Shepherding · Ch. 1
The Vision and Practice of Shepherding Our Children
Once each week, lead the children to know how they were drawn by the Lord — how they saw the church, how to live the church life, how to love Him, how to be perfected in the church life, and how to experience Him.
Children's Meeting · Ch. 1
The Progress of the Children's Meeting and the Commission We Should Have Today
Be a forerunner — help our own children participate in the new-way church life of "Gospel · Home · Group · District" (福、家、排、區). Be a promoter — in the district, transmit this to the other parents.
Cycle 2
23 weeks · wks 14–36
Home · Ch. 2
A Family of Faith — The Marks of a Spiritually Healthy Family
In daily life, lead the children to give thanks in the Lord; whenever the family encounters any problem, first pray together to seek the Lord's speaking.
Home · Ch. 2
A Family of Faith — The Marks of a Spiritually Healthy Family
Once each week, invite saints to the home for a meal — letting the children learn to receive others. Bring the children, month by month, to give materially for the needs of the church.
Shepherding · Ch. 2
Being One with God in Shepherding Our Children
Constantly cherish the new-creation traits of each child. Walk with both love and righteousness, with both reward and correction (more reward than correction). Once each week, with one's spouse, pray together fifteen minutes for the spiritual blessing of the children. Treat the children fairly and impartially; discipline in proper timing (never confront the flesh with the flesh); be willing to confess wrong to the children.
Children's Meeting · Ch. 2
The Vision and Blueprint for the Children's Meeting
Open a children's meeting for one's own children, using one's own home as a base of operations: ① Lead the children to pray by name for their classmates and neighbors. ② Invite them to come to the home (the children's meeting). ③ Perfect one's own children to learn to be priests of the gospel.
Cycle 3
15 weeks · wks 37–51
Home · Ch. 3
Living the God-Man Family Life
According to the family's measure, set fixed times for morning revival and evening prayer; persist firmly in the practice. Twice a week have a home meeting with the children, with comfort, encouragement, and cherishing — closing with prayer together.
Home · Ch. 3
Living the God-Man Family Life
Place a small whiteboard near the dining table; have a child write up one verse of the Lord's word each day, and read and enjoy it together before the meal.
Shepherding · Ch. 3
How to Bring Up Our Children in the Lord
In daily living, parents are watchful before the children in their words and conduct, and attentive to how the children act and treat others. In the meetings, give the children an impression that God's house is not a place of disorder.
Children's Meeting · Ch. 3
The Concrete Practice and Content of the Children's Meeting
The children's meeting begins with intimate concern and intercession. When teaching one another, encourage everyone to answer questions, and let praise replace correction. Lead the children to bring others to the children's meeting.
Cycle 4

Home · Ch. 4
Building Up Our Home
Letting Christ have the first place in everything is the altar between husband and wife. Praying together with one accord and reading the Lord's word together are daily necessities.
Shepherding · Ch. 4
Being One with God in Disciplining Our Children
Discipline the child's spirit, take care of his spirit, mind his spirit; do not wound the child's spirit; let his spirit be free and released. Parents are to be patterns for the child of one who loves the Lord.
